I have two 54" buckets for my TC24D...a dirt bucket and a light materiels bucket. They are both "heavy duty". One is simply larger than the other.

On my new TC24D, I discovered that New Holland has set the glow plug to go off at 5 seconds which does not do the job. I was getting real rough starting...lots of black smoke and stalling. The dealer told me to hold the glow plug for the 5 seconds(the light goes out) release the key, then hit the glow plug again for another 5...and another if necessary.This solved the problem. Starts much smoother without the black smoke.

I recently traded my TC18 with the old style loader arms for a new TC24D with the new style (12LA)loader setup. The new system is a huge improvement over the old!!! Try one before you buy...you'll agree!!!

I bought a new TC24D last fall and it seemed to start rough with lots of black smoke. My old TC18 was much smoother. Well, I just found out that there is a timer on the glow plug that cuts it out after 5 seconds. Now I hold the glow plug on for 5 seconds, release the key, hold it again for 5 seconds, and sometimes a 3rd time if it's real cold. Now it starts nice and smooth!

Just traded my TC18 for a TC24D which is the same size tractor as the TC21 only a little more power. I'm very pleased with this unit so far. It has the new 12LA loader which is a 100% improvement over the old loaders. Check it out. It may work well for you.

I bought a TC24D in late September and the rates were 1yr-2.1,2yr-3.49, 3yr-3.99 & 4yr-4.99. The 0% didn't apply to TC's. The October rate is up a little bit on the TC's.

I am buying a new TC24D with 12LA Loader & bucket and R4 tires for $15,000, and an extra 12LA Loader w/o a bucket for $2,300. My Curtis Plow will go on the extra loader arms.
I need a small tractor for snow removal in tight places. I'm trading my TC18 which has a quick attach plate for a bucket and the plow, but I have found that the implements are further forward with the quick attach than they otherwise would be and this places the weight too far forward for this small machine, reducing the lift capacity enough to be annoying.
